The so-called "legalization" effort was just a plot by the government to squeeze the small grower/distributor out of the market. All the wonderful boutique small batch brands that exist today would just die on the vine, only to be replaced by a bland monochrome corporate product harvested by overworked immigrants,to support bourgeois fat cats whose over-consumption is destroying the earth.

:sunbath:Yeah...

So???

Ok,I live there, and in my county- Tuolumne- I know a few growers. We're right by Humboldt county, the 'Green Triangle' area, where some of the best stuff on the planet is grown. Some of these growers who are friends of mine you would never suspect by their appearance are in the business. Its BIG business, and they make alot of money from it. Some of the growers though are Mexican drug gangsters who come in and setup operations, and you damn sure dont want to be poking around in the woods and come across one of their plots,or else. Most of the non gangster growers sell to the co-ops mainly in San Francisco. Whats funny,is, it doesnt even need to be made legal anyways. Tons of Drs are giving prescriptions for almost anything now- it isnt just relegated to cancer, glaucoma, etc. You could probably get it for having chronic (lol,no pun intended...) dry skin if you find the right Dr. And the co-ops will tell you who to go see to get your script. Still. IMO,it will NEVER be made legal at the federal level EVER. Just my opinion. I dont smoke it so I could care less. And when I did- I never inhaled...

You know it's becoming mainstream when you see clinics in Simi Valley...

Just my two cents, but the same yayhoos in government who always manage to screw up the economy, spend money they don't have, and generally make ***** of themselves, really have no business telling anyone how to and not to use any kind of chemical.
