Don't forget that there are two types of DO's. One type has a flat bottom and is meant for use on a stove top or grill grate. The other type has legs on the bottom and the lid typically has a lip around the edge to hold coals on it. This type is better for baking. They both have their places, you just have to decide which suits your needs the best.
