I've never known a Muslim or a Jew, I'm not really even sure if I've ever known a Presbyterian. It's never really occurred to me to ask. But......... (warning butt monkey). The world has gotten to the point that I must consider anyone I do not know to be a friend with suspicion. And even friends must be considered human, therefore suspect when their self interest is at play. I didn't choose to make the world this way, but, that's the way it looks to me. That's kind of the thought process behind the whole open/concealed carry question, is it not? I haven't seen anyone on this board pots something like " I conceal carry because I like the way it makes my sport coat hang", or "carrying a .45 gives me a lot better balance when I'm walking down the street". Or "it makes me feel sexy" wait a minnit, I have heard that one. I don't know if there is really anything to admit. It's mostly about "I want to be able to defend myself & my family/friends from enemies".i think we can certainly all agree, not all Muslims are interested in killing us. I suspect a lot of them are just interested in making it through the day. If you could prove to me somewhere back down the line one of my ancestors did something to piss someone of any race, creed or religion off, it wouldn't surprise me. But that sword probably cuts both ways. I'm not going to go hunting down "commies" or "nazis" or anyone else for something that happened in the past. If you live your life that way, I'm sure you can find reason to hate anyone/everyone.Does that mean i want to "turn the other cheek"? No. Does that mean I want to "kill them all and let God sort them out"? No. But anyway. I forgot where I was going with this.
