Canadian valley range is no more

I knew it had sold but the gate is locked and there is an ahrbergs mill being built there. Bummer as that is my closest rifle range around. End of an era

OKC Gun Club in Arcadia has outdoor ranges (except air rifle matches) for all shooting disciplines, and is one heck of a deal for those who enjoy shooting on a routine basis. Now is the time to submit an application for membership.

Great facility. Nobody would be disappointed by being a member there. I'm not a member but have shot competitions there for years.

First Henrys and now this. No more outdoor ranges on the West side.

My car gets 30-35 mpg and I live less than a gallon round trip to Canadian ranges and quit going after Harry retired.
I went 1 time after and did not like it.

I have since been driving to Lexington WMA shooting range to "test loads"
It is about 62 miles one way and that is still cheaper than paying for range time.
I have driven my 15 mpg vehicle there a few times and it does not hurt my feelings.

I have a lifetime hunt/fish license so no cost on a hunting license.
You do need a hunting license to shoot at the WMA ranges.
