Palmetto State Armory has the cheapest ammo I can find in stock right now for the Mosins. Think it was $90 for 440 rounds.

Cope`s also has ammo for $90 + $10 shipping. I just ordered one of the carbines and a 440rd tin of ammo.


We`ll see in what kind of shape the gun will be in....I guess I dont really care as long as it shoots good. This will probably end up being a truck/camping gun for me.

found some of these about 3 years ago for $35, it came ina sack, fortunately they are easy to put back together. Mine and others I have seen are ROUGH, expect pitting below the stock and mag body, but does not effect functionality. just my .02, these may be different. But price is right, watch for copes rusty can x54r ammo deals. Get some real russki fmj cheap and stack it deep.
