Chris Matthews on Obama win: 'I'm so glad we had that storm'

Mr Tingles at it again.

The MSNBC host, on a panel of pro-Obama pundits including Rachel Maddow, ended election coverage overnight by saying he's "glad" the storm hit, suggesting it served a greater good by boosting President Obama to a second term.

"I'm so glad we had that storm last week," Matthews said, after interjecting to give some final thoughts. Somebody off-screen could be heard saying "ooo" at that remark, but Matthews confidently put his hand up to explain.

"No, politically I should say -- not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics," he said.

A lot of people lost their homes and some lost their lives. Matthews is an idiot. Still, we have to admit that the storm was an act of God. God wanted broncobama to look presidential. Who are we to question HIS will?

This loser is on Katie Couric right now (the MIL is watching it)... wow. He's going on and on about how great it is that the people picked Obama and how the Republicans are stuck in 1953, are bigots, blah blah blah.

To her credit, Katie (surprisingly) stuck up for Republicans and told him he was painting with too broad a brush.

Overall, this guy makes me wanna puke, though.

I hate to say it, but some Republicans DO act like it's still 1953. Others act like I have no idea what. What they don't act like is polite professionals. They don't think logically about what their mission is and they certainly don't act like the stated party principles or history of the GOP. If they did, they might just beat the DNC come election time!

The Republicans don't act like it's 1953 at all. The Republican platform in the 50s was pretty progressive and sane compared to 2012.
