Clinton is absolutely a Marxist and a proponent of absolute government. He is also, however, more politically astute with respect to ordinary Americans than is the current Marxist in Chief.
So for that matter is even the haughty Northeast liberal John Effing Kerry! Who can forget his memorable question in a Boardman, Ohio grocery store: "Kin I git me a huntin' license here?" His normal condescending Harvard accent suddenly was nowhere in evidence! http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2004/oct/22/20041022-090857-8206r/
In retrospect the Clinton years seem tame. I remember despising him at the time for his lack of character and I remember being ashamed that he was the first president from my generation. He's a master tactician, probably because he's had to think on his feet all his life in order to slip out of trouble. They better take his advice. His wife is a master strategist who is hard to dislike.
