We are in the process of moving to Oklahoma from Mississippi. We will be relocated to Norman by 6.14.2010... I am looking for a good place for me and my 13 year old son to hunt. Any help will be appreciated! E-mail and number is listed below.

I don't really know any place, but am curious, you moving to Tulsa or Norman? Your post says norman, but your name says tulsa???

About 10 miles south of Norman is public land. It's called Lexington WMA. If I don't draw out on the hunt in Arcadia, I go there for opening archery. You have to be drawn for rifle season but it is open for muzzleloader and archery season. There really is a lot of great public land in OK and they seem to add more every year. You might just scout around and see what looks good to you.
