Colorado: Bloomberg Already Sets His Sights on Next Years Legislative Session
Posted on September 26, 2014
Those who support the Second Amendment and the individual liberties protected by our Bill of Rights wont soon forget the all-out assault waged against their freedoms during the 2013 legislative session.
The rights-infringing bills, which were passed by anti-gun legislators in Denver and signed into law by a flip-flopping Governor, could soon be just the tip of the iceberg if billionaire anti-gun leader Michael Bloomberg has his way.
Earlier this week, Bloombergs newest gun control group, Everytown for Gun Safety, released their 2014 candidate endorsements. With the release of this information, it is obvious that they havent forgotten about the Centennial State. In announcing their endorsements, they have made it clear which state legislators they want to see in office come January.
These are some of the same state legislators who voted in favor of an arbitrary magazine limit that unnecessarily restricts the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves against a violent attacker. Further, they are the same lawmakers who think a husband shouldnt be able to allow his wife to use his handgun for self-protection for more than three days if he happens to be out of town. These legislators believe there is still more to be done in Colorado to restrict your ability to exercise your constitutionally protected rights.
The deciding vote on your Right to Keep and Bear Arms is up for grabs long before the 2015 legislative session convenes in January. Dont forget what is at stake on November 4, because the Bloombergs of the world still remember.
