Although I don't think it's a statutory requirement to check someone's DL or ID for a private sale to ensure they're a resident.
no it may not be a requirement to check ID,but its a felony to sell someone a gun NOT of your state,, thats the problem,so you must verify they are from OK..and knowing how the ATF operates ,i am not about to sell a gun to someone out of state,regardless of the laws ..if they want my gun that bad i will meet them at a FFL to do the transfer..

You must not sell to someone you know, or reasonably should have known, is a prohibited possessor.
Verify not necessary.

You'll feel much better if you leave that California mindset behind.

Yes... A pawn shop will give you pennies on the dollar. A dealer, if he buys them, will give you a low wholesale price. Again...private party sales are legal in OK. You need to have a reasonable belief you're not selling to a prohibited person. So ask them. Check a drivers license to make sure they're an OK resident. Get money, give gun.

Pretty sure it's been covered now.
