Of course it is! For instance, my marlin 336 can fire a massive hail of bullets from the hip. We all know that makes them too dangerous for us simple citize...er...subjects.

This bill makes no sense - it exhibits an irrational blame of "assault weapons" (as differentiated from all other weapons) for damage creation capability.

The truth is don't worry - that will be fixed shortly because one or two legislative sessions from now someone will amend this bill (should it become a law) to make the "common-sense" (which font do I use for exasperated frustration?) additions of handguns and all rifles over .22LR caliber.

Just for the record, this isn't a "law". It's a bill. Nothing is a law until and unless it's passed both sides of the legislature and subsequently not vetoed by the Governor.
