Concealed Carry Badge, what is your opinion?

The badge deal sounds like a real bad idea to me. I'm from SE Oklahoma and I'll share a true story from my youth - when I was in high school my hunting patrner's dad was confronted by a guy who had moved in from Texas and had been showing a badge around that was some kind of honorary deputy deal or something from Texas. My friend's dad did what he thought was best and shot the guy dead.

I honestly cannot believe that we have members who are advocating the use of CCW badges. Your trolling efforts are fantastic.

Although I wouldn't sell these badges, I think an opportunity might be there to sell the billfolds. Appeal to the true Adventurer - gett'em in sharkskin, lizard or snake. Elephant and rhino, those wallets for concealed carry badges could sell like porno playing cards.

I'll make sure to pass that along to all those privately-owned EMS services out there.... good information for them to know.

There are provisions for accredited agencies like ems and wrecker services, and always have been. A police officer, reserve deputy or firefighter putting them on their own vehicles will get them in much trouble.

If you could post a link to this, I'd really appreciate it. It could potentially stop people from openly displaying these badges. What was the guy doing? Showing his badge while trying to bully people around?
