After 9 years in Houston we moved back to Tulsa six months ago. In Texas a business or area has to post a sign showing the 30.06 (no open carry) or 30.07 (no concealed carry) in 1” tall letters in a conspicuous place. Even if you are caught with a firearm in a legally marked area you are asked to leave and if you don’t they can call the cops and it is a trespassing charge. I know from experience, because they were so afraid they did not even ask me to leave they just called the cops. did not get charged, just was asked to leave by a nice LEO but I will no longer shop at sprouts for this reason. The gun buster signs are meaningless in Texas other than to make the snowflakes feel better. I went to the casino this weekend with (a Glock 19) IWB and they have a sign that says no weapons allowed I just walked on in. Hope I was not doing something illegal.
