I wonder how hard it's be to get them for 7-shot models (with cool grips just because).

TK Customs makes moon clips for the 686+ You can get them from their website or from amazon.
Is that a 7 inch as well?

I have to confess I saw that but couldn't resist show this beauty off. 7 would be fun, but this is the 6" plus model.TK Customs makes moon clips for the 686+ You can get them from their website or from amazon.

I don't have any problems with bending due to pocket carry, although I concede it is a possibility. My clips are pretty robust, however: they are 45 ACP, 10mm and 7-shot 9mm, so that possibly makes a difference.I have a Model 640-1 Pro Series that was cut for moon clips at the factory. The clip is great for smoother ejection of empties, but I never carried reloads in a one. I was always afraid that the clip would get bent in my pocket and cause binding if I ever needed it.
Moon clips are great for reloads at the range. I usually load a bunch of them up before I take my 625 to the range.
Here's a picture, just because.
New member that is 120 years old! I imagine that is a new OSA record. Congrats![emoji16]A friend of mine did his J frame airweight years ago.
His cost was what ever the moon clips cost.
He did his own machining!
