Cooling off on fathers Day

Sunday I went with the family on a little drive. Fortunately it was cool out because I was at 12,000ft plus. My son took this picture of a little snow. Man I love it when you can come across 13 feet of snow at the end of June!

Here are a couple of ours:
Looking at Mt. Bierstadt (14060 ft) and then the 4th peak over from it in the background is Mt. of the Holy Cross (14005 ft) taken from Mt. Evans (14264 ft).

Nice it's pretty up there. Several years ago about 40 elk got hit by lighting up on Evans. They were chared black!
