Here is proof of the effectiveness of the pistol as a self defense tool.

Effective after 3 rounds of .338UM and running several hundred yards, all the while pumping that blood out of it's system. Don't get too comfortable with your pistol in terms of expecting it to do what it's supposed to do. Most people aren't carrying a .454 for self defense.

They must have had guts to go against a bear like that. But I wonder if the hunting party’s survival rate was better than a B-17 crew….
