Thanks Rick!I had a die that did that and i took some 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper and a drop of oil and wrapped it around a dowel rod and chucked it in a drill and polished it out.
It is hard to tell I can’t tell and I’m holding it lolCan't tell from the pic.
The only thing I have found so far is a plastic coat hanger and a 1/4” socket I been sick so I’m not getting out to buy anything just looking for something that will work I have hereSandpaper dowel rod like was stated.
NO dowel rod then take a cheap ink pen remove the guts and use the hard plastic outer tube as a dowel rod.
Cut a slit in it.
Or use a cleaning brush for rifles and wrap paper towels around it to fatten it and then wrap sandpaper around it.
Or just use paper towels and wet them with automotive polishing compound.
Not that you do not know all this already.
I polish all my dies to an almost mirror finish.
