Cutting down 5.56 for 300blackout. (Redneck edition)

The harbor freight mini chop saws always seem to crap out so I created a faster way. Use 2x4 to hold case, run thru the table saw, push cases out then resize, trim , champfer and debut.

Need to put a less aggressive blade on the saw but it works great.

@Rez Exelon not sure how he is cutting his down.
I just cut mine with a cut off wheel on a die grinder by just eyballing it on a 2x4 with a small groove cut in it to keep the case from rolling.
After cutting, Resize, trim, chamfer. Check in case guage.
I wouldn't buy extra tools for something so simple.

I was getting about 7,000 before the spring that lifts the motor would break. Buy it with the warranty and swap out when it broke. I used a jig (Bay of E) that worked pretty good. Over time I upgraded my equipment to a 1050, ammobot, and a couple Giraud annealing machines. Then brass got expensive.

I did a couple thousand rounds with the harbor freight chop and a homemade jig. Then I just the saw for other things having secured as much 300 BO brass as I'd ever need. I think I just chucked the saw one day because it was annoying me taking up space in the garage. No way in heck I'm ever putting that setup near my table saw.

I made something similar, I use a wood jig that clamps to my bandsaw table with a slide. I can place about 12 cases in it but usually do ten and just run them thru. It travels completely off the bandsaw table dropping the cases in a bucket. Reload jig and run them again. Fastest thing I come up with. Can do 300 cases in about 8 or 9 minutes if I don't drop them when loading cases in jig. Arthritis has a play in that sometimes.

I tried one of those chop saws at Harbor Freight, became to time consuming. I bought a 300BO early on before brass was easily obtained. Had a few friends who also had the same problems obtaining brass so I started making brass for them also for a little cash or bartering. I enjoyed doing it but the cutting one at a time wasn't working.
