I have been prepping .223 cases today and keeping them .223 and that is a chore.
Thinking out loud it would be fairly easy to line up a bunch of cases straight and then do a resin pour to make a perfect mold for them too.I tried one of those chop saws at Harbor Freight, became to time consuming. I bought a 300BO early on before brass was easily obtained. Had a few friends who also had the same problems obtaining brass so I started making brass for them also for a little cash or bartering. I enjoyed doing it but the cutting one at a time wasn't working.
Hadn't thought of that but good idea. I cut them a little long to allow extra in case they were not aligned perfectly straight. Then purchased a motorized trimmer to make quick work of that chore.Thinking out loud it would be fairly easy to line up a bunch of cases straight and then do a resin pour to make a perfect mold for them too.
I bought a neck turning tool years ago and tried it on some 308 cases and no difference. My problem was the varied case neck thickness after cutting down to size. Maybe one of these days I'll invest in a neck turning tool...
