I have are really nice .32-20/.32H&Rmag Blackhawk convertible. Slightly collectable. Not rare but not all that readily available. Special run for Buckeye Sports in Ohio.
Both cylinders are numbered to the gun and I want to leave them as-is.
But....
I really want a .327 cylinder.

I've never seen a .32 cylinder for sale but I HAVE seen a .30 Carbine cylinder for sale. Do you reckon it could be opened up to .327?

I know nothing of the .32 calibers nor have I reamed a cylinder, but I have reamed barrels out to other calibers(i.e. 9mm Luger to 9mm Largo). You'll need to draw both chamber dimensions overlaying each other in a CAD program. If the .327 is larger and the shoulder is deeper, you can ream it.

It can be done and works great.
The .327 isn't much different than .30 Carbine rimmed or .32-20.

Is the frame long enough? Will the brass be recessed?

Not an impossible job.
