I do not comprehend the logic behind some peoples belief that online petitions, particularly in the case of the white house system, are anything more than mental masturbation. What a wonderful system to help placate the seething anger of the masses in an age where instant gratification is expected and can be had without any more effort than clicking a mouse while never getting out of your chair.
