Sorry for the OT rant, but I’m just sick of hearing dumb*sses attempting to compare sh*t they know absolutely nothing about. Hopefully, this will end the illusion of what a “deal” Oklahoma hunting is for out of staters.
The funny thing is that I’ve never seen this justifiable comparison made on any Texas hunting message board I’ve
I’d gladly take that screwing over the one I get every year to only hunt my own place.Out-of-State hell, residents are getting the same screwing!

Haven’t looked at the costs for either resident or non-resident hunting licenses in a long time. That is crazy expensive! Got my lifetime combo license a little over 30 years ago for a grand total of $400.Out-of-State hell, residents are getting the same screwing!

I'm in!!!The last hunting lease I had was $0.20 an acre.
2000 acres near Caddo for $400. Year round exclusive hunting rights. Ten of us split the cost at $40 each.
Oklahoma has a law that protects the landowner against lawsuits if they allow others to use it for sporting purposes. It was recently strengthened last year if I remember right. I've never heard of the $10 per acre thing.Never heard of that for Oklahoma, but I’m not a lawyer either. I’ve always thought that if you own the land then you could be held liable for anything that happens on the property regardless of lease value.
Let me help you with this. You are so full of sh*t, but I’ll play along.
A non resident can hunt everything in Texas (deer, turkey, quail, doves, small game etc) for $441/year.
Now let’s compare that to Oklahoma.
$280 for archery
$280 for muzzleloader
$280 for rifle
$176 for general hunting license
$10 for fall turkey
$10 for spring turkey
$10 for waterfowl
$1046/year
Lifetime = zero dollars except for bear I think. Crane/HIP is free when you're an old fart.Out-of-State hell, residents are getting the same screwing!
