lol...it never occurred to me that some people aren't sure where they were born. I guess it happens.

none taken. the hospital i was born could have been in 1 of 2 cities. alexandria,la or pineville,la. very close to each other.

Are you a military brat by any chance? The air force base that used to be near pineville is where I was born, and I always put Shreveport as my birth city,

For the record, NICS doesn't care about city of birth, just the state.

I never read the city to NICS.

Example:
YOu have POB as Tulsa, OK.

They ask me "place of birth"

I say, "Oklahoma"

They dont record the city, just the state, so that is a non-issue IMO

I sometimes have a hard time remembering which is on my birth certificate, the military base I was born on, or the city the base is in, so it does happen...

I've always put both on mine.

ha no. you're talking about fort polk right? we used to go there all the time when i was younger. my grandpa retired out of the air force. he was in the army before that. korean war he was in the army (scout sniper) and vietnam he was in the air force (packed parachutes and pushed people out of the plane)

city wont matter , state is all that is reported. nics wont tell you anything. call or drop in and ask them for a status check with nics
