In response to original post. I know how you feel dude. Lifes a sux after combat. I'm getting 80% from VA from my injuries from combat. For years I remember sleeping better outside of the wire on the hood of my M1114 than at home. I got sick of being an ass to my wife and kids so I went to see a civilian doc. It took multiple trips to the doc but I found a brand and dosage of anti depressents that makes me feel like my old self. I'm not doped up like a zombie but I do feel as close to normal as a experienced combat vet can be. I sleep and hour or 2 more every night. Don't give up dude. Life can get better but you just have to keep trying different meds till you find what works for you I have TBI, PTSD, and no regrets.
