Desert Eagle Barrel Exchange Problems

I have a new U.S.A. made mark XIX 44 mag.I purchased a mark XIX 50AE barrel that is made in Israel and when I attempt to put it on my frame the locking tab will not rotate.Is there some difference in the U.S.A. made parts from the Israel made parts.I thought all mark XIX would interchange.

You should call Kahr/Magnum Research. All Mark XIX parts are supposed to interchange as designed.
