That was me who advised against shooting up TV's because of toxic components. You'd have done better to take the TV to a recycling place, and confined your shooting to non-toxic targets.

A few weeks back I finally went modern and bought a new LED TV. Rolled the old rear projection TV to the end of my driveway before work. I got home and it was gone.

We put out all kinds of stuff on "big junk day" including an old bed with an old mattress. I figured the roving junkers would snatch up everything but the mattress but within 15 minutes a junker snatched that dirty old mattress first. Had me a WTF moment there...

I dont think I did a TV. I remember a VCR and something else...........

And was done in a trashpile put there in 1957 by my grandpa.
