Just got home from a week at Lake Tanneycomo Mo. that is the tail waters of Tablerock lake.
Rains kept me off the lake for three days.
Wife (she doesn’t fish. Official photographer) and I went out for the other three days and didn’t catch the numbers of trout we could by choice but decided to target big trout using big baits.
5-6” rapalas that produced nothing.
The week before getting there they had gates open that allowed shad, bass, walleye to come through the gates.
So decided to pick a shad pattern bait and it produced. All fish caught in the trophy area were released. The shad pattern continued down lake.
The measuring board is 19” long
A couple smallmouth for a bonus.
