Does Thunderbird have a lot of stunted crappie?
Ponca Lake did, and the ODW introduced Saugeye. Getting some decent crappie sizes out of there now.

They probably eat them so there aren't so many crappie that they are stunted.

Saugeye like same type of structure as crappie during certain times of year. Bigger saugeye will feed on smaller crappie. Lowering the number of crappie allows remaining crappie more food to grow bigger.

Also, saugeye are sterile, so they cant reproduce and take over the lake.
