Did anybody in Yukon get complimentary cabin service (pretzels or soft drink) from Southwest Airlines?

Flying a visual approach at midnight… fatigue set in…got a bit low…. Go around initiated by flight crew. Visual approach probably more closely backed up by the ILS... normal landing.

Concerning? Slightly. Media over reacting? Absolutely!

Back in the 70's they would approach over the Warr Acres area at what seemed like 500'. Especially with a strong south wind. This was at Meridian Ave. We could almost see in the windows. Things changed I guess to abate noise levels.

I had an employee that worked for me in the mid-90s who was in a flight path of the landing approach for TIA. He thought he was smart and made a potato cannon and shot it at the planes. Somehow they knew and some people from the government made him a visit.

Yes I know he was an idiot but he was a great guy.

You say he "was" a great guy. Did the government facilitate the change from "is" to "was?"
