I think I posted on a similar thread that well, I quit watching the news shortly after 9-11, I don't have cable, etc., just over the air viewing. I don't even watch the local except Fox 25 sometimes.

I turned off the TV in my Den about 14 months ago ...... Not even sure if it still works.

Good for you! I've been TV-free for almost 10 years, and I have never looked back.
