At OAS the best way to get service is to ask for it. The above described situation is not unusual. Walking up and interupting a BS session and saying "Can you help me with something", or "could you walk over to the counter with the .45 and show me something" works every time and I have yet to get a dirty look from any of the the less than stellar counter help when doing it. In the past 10 or 12 years I've spent multiple 10's of thousands of dollars on firearms and guns. 2/3 of it has been at OAS. Sure the service sucks but the prices beat H&H hands down and you don't get the condescending looks from the help at OAS like you do at H&H when you break up a BS session there. Hell - half the fun of going to a gun store is the BS sessions but when the help isn't smart enough to end them to help a customer its OK to end 'em yourself. When you have to do it though price becomes a much bigger issue than service.
