I cringe every time I see Taylor on the Tulsa news. I don't get a chance to vote since I'm not a Tulsa resident. I'm not a huge fan of the incumbent but Kathy Taylor back as Mayor would be very bad news. Amazing how she left office widely disliked and yet has staged this effective comeback.

Yep, it's amazing what having a metric buttload of money can do to rehabilitate one's image. :(

Pro-2A Unitarian = oxymoron. They're generally so confused about their own existence that the concept of self-defense and preservation of life would cause them to break out in a cold sweat of indecision.

That is the ultimate definition of a Unitarian. I may steal that from you.

On Wednesday, October 2 at 7pm, All Souls Unitarian Church -- 2952 S. Peoria Ave. -- will host a discussion on gun violence and what Oklahomans are thinking and doing about it. The panel at the core of the discussion is organized, in part, by the Tulsa chapter of Moms. The panel includes: Sabine Brown, co-founder of the Oklahoma chapter and leader of Moms Demand; Dr. Robert Block, professor, pediatrician, and immediate past president of the American Academy of Pediatrics; Ron Palmer, a former Tulsa Police chief and CEO of Palmer Security Consulting; Dr. Lori Whelan, assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Oklahoma; Patti Ferguson-Palmer, veep of the Tulsa Classroom Teachers' Association; and Rex Berry, founder of the Oklahoma Chapter of States United to Prevent Gun Violence, a retired Tulsa police officer, and a veteran international trainer and consultant who has worked abroad on policing and security practices.

How is All Souls getting away with calling this sermon to the church choir in an echo chamber a legitimate discussion where all points of view are welcome and represented? Were any pro-2A groups invited to attend or asked to participate on the panel?

Anyone remember that Palmer was Kathy Taylor's controversial at-will employee Police Chief and that during his tenure the worst police corruption scandal in Tulsa's history occurred:

Rex Berry is part of Kathy Taylor's campaign team:

Notice a trend here?(Besides cops from a department with a culture of corruption wanting to shred the Constitution they swore to uphold)

The trend continues:

Whelan also raises the issue of some of the scarier weapons floating around in our gun-toting society.

"The products sold should be responsible. People talk about getting high capacity clips -- something that can hold 30 rounds," Whelan said. "I just can't think of a situation where I need to pull the trigger 30 times."

"When the Framers wrote the Second Amendment, they couldn't conceive what kind of weapons we have today," Whelan said.

"The strict constructionist interpretation of it says that anyone can have any weapon they want," Whelan said. "But to say the Framers meant that people could have grenades and bazookas, I think, is a perversion of what they meant."

Yeah, sure, it's really just about gun violence, not gun control and Kathy Taylor supports the 2nd amendment[sarcasm off].

Are there any pro 2A Unitarians out there? I'm guessing the answer is "no"

What the hell is a "Unitarian" anyway?????............

Taylor ran Tulsa into the ground, had the lights on expressways turned off, bankrupted the city...

Now she says says "Ready to get things back on track"

Right, she wants to railroad Tulsa into Liberal Nirvana.

Make sure these douches do not get elected!!!
