R-L... Sig M400 @ $917, DPMS .308 @ $897, DPMS Sport @ $587, and just behind the box is a M&P 15-22 [no flash supressor] @ $430.

The $1,097 tag is for the Colt 5.56.... they & the M&P 15-22's sell out pretty quick when they come in.

I'm gonna agree with 1shott, sometimes people can't reach a local store. I also remember late 2008 when the obama craze was going on. Thank god for Wal-mart, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford to shoot if I relied upon local vendors.

That's why I still like them. WM never raised their prices, just rationed a little. Last time I was in Bass Pro, they were still rationing ammo. The local gun store in Clinton practically rapes you with their ammo prices. And we all remember the great "Cheaper" Than Dirt back then. You almost had to sell a kidney to buy their ammo. Besides that, It's almost impossible to buy American no matter where you shop, and I do beleive WM tries to do good with most of their practices.

Of course, I absolutely hate going into a super WM in the OKC area. Way too crowded for me!

Greedy overpriced gun shops and gun dealers, aren't any better than Wal-Mart!

They are smaller, higher priced, have crappy service with a bad attitude, and have less to choose from.

I live in Shawnee, and there are no decent gun shops/dealers here to do business with, so I get most of my ammo from WM, and most of my guns from individuals.

The typical profit margin on firearms is 10%-15%, that doesn't seem too greedy to me. Most small shops buy their ammo from Wal-Mart as a convenience for their customers, you have to let them make a couple of bucks or they can't stay in business.

I was just on the SIG Sauer website and they are giving away a SIG M400 Enhanced AR. Just go to the Team SIG page to enter-one entry per person.
