Did some swapping with a guy and acquired this mini didnt realize it till I got there and saw it in person, but it has a wooden heat shield. Quick internet search shows the gun to be manufactured somewhere round 1978. Series 181-xxxxxxx, the stock was the interesting part to me you dont see to many like that.

Questions are
Are the older Mini's more desireable/valuable?
Should I keep it all together, as i was considering selling all the old furniture?

I don’t know of any added value for the 181 series. I do know that most after-market stocks will not fit the 181 or will only fit after some modification.

I traded for an older Mini a few years back, mine is the all wood/stainless version, believe its a 181 series as well, 1980 vintage per my research...never thought I would keep it but really liked it so its still here

I prefer the wood heat shield early ones. Sooner or later I'll pick one up. Drop it in any stock you want but I'd keep the old stock. I don't know if the premium is large, but it would separate it from the crowd.
