That’s a beautiful knife. That handle is awesome. Are you preparing and stabilizing your own mammoth ivory or are you receiving it ready to be worked/shaped?
I buy scales already processed. I get most from a guy in Russia which is hard to do these days
Thanks for getting back to me. I’d imagine getting anything from there is a task right now. I’ve got several good chunks of tusks and was curious what your process was if you did it yourself. I doubt mine could look like what your knives wear, but figured I’d ask.
