That is where the government got the turtle tail stimulus for the lazy turtles.
How big is it? Nothing in the pic to reference it by. Betcha it was a bigger turtle that chomped on that one's tail.
Bigger than the Ruger Bearcat.
I would not lay my bear cat down by that stinking thing. Turtle was about a foot across & was longer than it was wide.
Welp, it sure is an ugly beast.
Went by another pond turtle baled off dam surfaced about 20 feet from shore. Shot it in the head . Sat & watched it for a bit it was dead in the water.
