What is it?

Found a carcass torn up by a coyote(?) in my yard and trying to figure out what it used to be. About the size of a large house cat and the only thing I can really recognize is the tail. Red with black rings. (pics to follow later.)

Maybe a Ringtail??

Ring-tail was my thought, too. I see them here in AZ from time to time. Allegedly they inhabit SW Oklahoma.

If you're in the sw part of the state ringtail is definitely a possibility.
