Regarding that gentleman that fired upon the Texas shooter, I received an e-mail from the minister at our church in Oregon. He included a link to the Christian Chronicle. It appears that the gentleman was a church of Christ preacher for a number of years, and that he is in need of prayers, partly because he shot the man and possibly because he wasn't able to get there soon enough to save more lives. He reminds me of the minister at the church we attended in Mustang for 11 years. Numerous times he spoke from the pulpit that every husband and father ought to own a shotgun and know how to use it.
