Favorite Beer??

Ditto on the Moose Drool, Dead Guy Ale and Fat Tire. Been some of my favs for years. Can't get Fat Tire in OK.

In OKC, the absolute best beer available comes from Royal Bavaria on S Sooner Rd, about a half mile south of 164th. Most authentic German beer this side of the Atlantic...and they brew it on site! Owner, Andy, now sells kegs, too! Food is outstanding, too! Tell him HT sent you!

Currently working near Chicago, so I've discovered a nice home-brew place here local, Bulldog Brewing Co, Whiting, IN.

OK, Looks like we need to talk about My opinions of beer, one of the necessities of life.

For me, there is sipping beer, and there is drinking beer. We all have different tastes, getting off the mower/tractor after a couple of hours requires drinking beer, not sipping beer. That's why there are so many brands. My drinking beer is Miller High Life or Coors. Wifey calls it gulping beer. Before you all get to laughing, I can not hardly stand the hops change they do to brew for the 3.2 in Oklahoma, it is a similar process that they use for LITE beers, barfy piss water. For those who may not know, all 3.2 beer sold cold in OK is brewed with different hops mixture. Like Shiner, the OP started with, buy a 6 pack of 3.2 cold in the grocery store in OK, then buy a hot liqueur store 6 pack and chill it down. Then take a plastic cup from a cold keg from the brewery. Notice a different taste? Brewed Totally different I import all my beer I can. I drive out of state to get most of what I drink for drinking beer, I fly out of state to get my sipping beer most of the time. Glad I live close to the border and own aircraft.

Wifey drove to Indiana for this weekend, will be bringing be back some real Miller to get me by for a while, her auto will be dragging bottom, (she takes care of me) along with some FatTire sipping beer. However, that will not be sufficient as Indiana does not have Yungling. I like the Fat Tire and Yuengling for sipping beer at different times.

It seems it is time for a beer run. A flight to Tennessee for Yungling might be appropriate. I have been out for about four months, and I do not like it. I am not trying to get into the bootlegging business here, but if someone or ones wanted to help with my expenses to fly to Tennessee and haul something back that would cost me extra weight/fuel, we might work a deal. You are welcome to fly in the back seat s. Sit down, shut up, hang on.... We will not go unless it will be a nice flight, You will have share the back seat with Fred our dog. If he does not get to go because of your opposition, he will most likely bite you, otherwise he usually sleeps most flights. I can haul an extra 1470 extra pounds. I have not computed that to how many 12oz Yungling bottles at this time.

Anhouser Bush was going to keep importing the Grolsh Amber which was one of my favorites, but In-Brev decided to nix that. It was outstanding.

Miller lite. I've branched out and tried the fancier stuff, but I keep going back to this. Easy to drink, gets the job done.
