Looks like FDE puked in my garage...

the bolt gun is my finished 300 whisper/300-221/300blkout built on a trued rem700 with a Douglas 1-8 twist 16.5 in barrel in a AICS 1.5 with the new .223 AI mag. The can is a AAC Cyclone.

And my FN Scar 16 with Eotech XPS and some magpul stuff (I still need to work on the grip fit). And Maxpedition goodies from Dubs group buys.

The Whisper really looks good. I've been kicking around the idea of building one off the new Savage lightweight. I want a 16" fluted medium weight barrel 1 in 8" for 220gr subsonics. I custom built a .300 Whisper AR-15 several years ago. I use the Cyclone also. Great pictures.

I plan on running the Tangodown extended side rails mainly for the flush cup for a QD sling. I might try the longer rail that extends past the gas block. I just hate to mess with the balance the SCAR is a really great light weight carbine. In the Bolt gun I run the 220 SMKs and they are good for subsonic use I also would like to try the new hornady 225g. I have tried the 240SMK and I dont think they have anything more to offer over the 220 other than cost..
