Fiat 500 Do they hold up?

Does anyone know a owner of a Fiat 500 and if so,how well has it held up? I need a cheap car for work. Thanks.

Cheap car. They are too new to buy used aren't they? Even new I would imagine they are mid to low $20k. How about a newer used Honda or yota.

A fiat 500 can be had for about 15k brand new. An abarth adds another 7-8k, but that is worth it. I have driven several, they are fun little cars

I don't know about "hold up", but they would certainly "fold up" if smacked by a full-size SUV at an intersection.

My FIL tested one out when my MIL was wanting something small, they weren't impressed. She now has a Mini Cooper Clubman. I still can't get passed the looks of the 500 but that's just me.

I've previously owned 3 Fiats and a passion for the brand... but those were Italy built Fiats. The new ones are made in Mexico and I just can't get excited about them.
