Hi,

For a Lee press, the Lee Classic Turret is a shining star in their product line. It is actually a decent little turret and I often recommend it to people that don't want to spend the money on a Dillon.

With that said, a LCT will never match any Dillon in build quality, reliability, or customer service...

Good luck,

Alan

Brand X, brand Y, brand Z...to a Dillon owner, the brand of press doesn't matter if it isn't the Blue Brand. The usual response from Dillon owners: "buy a Dillon and fix all your problems."

This post was too good to pass up. Dillon owners actually experiencing problems with their presses. So I pulled the pin on the grenade, rolled it into the middle of the discussion, and stuck my fingers in my ears when I said "buy a Lee."

My observation? Those that spend a lot of money on Blue presses seem to be a bit touchy when the shrapnel starts flying in their direction...

I crack me up.

Well you know the old saying "you get what you pay for" comes into play here. Id rather spend a little more up front for quality instead of buying cheap crap and trying to make it work. Oh well I am a LOT less frustrated with Dillon than I have ever been with (insert brand here).

from everything I have heard Dillon must make a darn good press but they are not the only ones, I have a CH progressive bought new that is over 30 years old and has loaded thousands and thousands of rounds, never had to replace a part other than a primer punch or call for service help, If I were in the market for a press I would not hesitate to buy a used CH progressive, wish they still made them. I believe the old Stars were awfully good to.
