Unfortunately their $.16 per round 9mm comes out to $.19+ per round after tax and shipping is added.

I've never understood why they don't open a store front for local sales or at least offer some type of shipping discount for areas near their location.

I met an SGAMMO employee one day,,,
He told me that they would need different insurance,,,
If they were to open up even one small room for on-site retail sales.

I suspect though that even if they could, they wouldn't,,,
Their business is thriving on the internet,,,
Why fix something if it ain't broken.

I believe there is a shipping discount for local or near local,,,
I live in Ripley, which is 17 miles out of Stillwater.

I just ordered 55 pounds of ammo from them,,,
Shipping was $13.00 total.

Ordered at 10:00 AM on a Monday,,,
Delivered to my doorstep at 7:07 PM on Tuesday.

That's hard to beat.

SGammo will split the freight with you for in-state sales.

They pay half the freight, to make up for some of the sales tax, at least that's their story.It doesn't show up on the cart until it's finalized.

I've made several purchases from them, I've always been pleased.

I can confirm this. Let time I placed an order, I was going to be going through Stillwater and called and asked if I could pick it up. The employee said that they can't do that because then it becomes a retail storefront and would require some wicked expensive liability insurance.

It's a family ran business. They have full time jobs and the kids are in school. Some other helpers in at busy times.
