Fishing around Sapulpa

Hey guys my son (10yr old) is out here for a couple more weeks. He wants a fishing pole and to go fishing for his birthday. I plan on getting him one of the Zebco or Ugly stick combo packs that has a rod, reel, along with some hooks and small lures. Where is a good place around Sapulpa that I could take him to fish. I am not too worried about what we catch just want to catch something.

Pretty Water, Lake Sahoma

Does anyone happen to know if you can purchase the permits for Lake Sahoma/Pretty Water some place other than the store out there? Like city of Sapulpa?

IDK about Sahoma.

Keystone state park has a catch and release kids pond that will produce for sure.

Yeah, there's a little bait shop on the big lake that sells permits for both..
