President Trump has ordered flags to be flown at half-mast for the next 3 days in honor of the victims of the COVID virus, leading up to Memorial Day.

I NEVER fly mine at "half mast" "Semper Fi" unless it was someone like Reagan. She flies at full staff or not at all. When the world is at half staff I usually fly a Navy Jack at full. Sorry. I do not live my life in a state of perpetual mourning.

Monday I will observe our standard Memorial Day tradition of half staff until noon and raised to full staff after.

It actually supposed to be for the fallen from the War of Northern Aggression.

I believe it was officially changed in the early 70s to honor all fallen in American wars.
