Itchy finger knows!!! Took care of a fleet of over 60 ford trucks and we had 5 sterlings with the 6.7 cummins. Ill never own a ford diesel after that! The sterlings held up way better than those fords ever though about. If you have ford problems in Tulsa go see RC specialists,we got to be good buddies. And they love fords!!

FWIW I'm a Ford guy through and through. 7.3 powerstroke gtg, 6.0 junk, 6.4 junk but not as bad as the 6.0. I personally don't have any experience with the 6.7 but have friends that do so I won't comment. Haven't had experience with duramax in over a decade. Currently have a 2012 Dodge 2500 for a company vehicle and pull a
30' gooseneck loaded down with pressure control equipment and perforating guns nearly everywhere I go and it pulls like a dream. Lot to be said for the Cummins engine, not so much for the cheap interiors of Dodge pickups. If I were in the market for a diesel pickup I'd buy a new Ford in a heartbeat.

I will say that in the industry that I work in its 90% Ford and Dodge that you see pulling heavy loads down the road.

Here's my 06'....8" lift, airbags in the rear...almost 210k miles

[Broken External Image] Those were 2 forty foot randoms, 24" diameter. The gooseneck is 7100 pounds empty...With my T300 bobcat on there I'm at a total weight (truck, trailer, cargo) of about 25,700 lbs...

I've thought about getting a newer one, but I dont feel like there is anything that would do what I want any better than this already does...

I had an 02' 7.3 Ford before this, and although it was a good truck. I like this Dodge Mega Cab a lot more...
