Poor old ground pounders only got C rations and later MRE's, never seeing milk or Kiwi.

Yeah, I hear ya but that “milk” was highly suspect and I’m not sure kiwi fruit ever goes bad so it wasn’t as luxurious as it sounds. We all would have traded you for an MRE, I promise.
