That is the only acceptable way to change gun rights.
You would still have the right to keep and bear arms if they removed the 2nd amendment, just that it would make it easier for the government to infringe on that right.
Amending the Constitution is the only legal way to change the intent of the founders.
That being said. It would be difficult to get 2/3 of both houses of Congress along 2/3 of the States to agree to amending the constitution.

Exactamundo, a similar poll on a site like dailykos would be 180degrees opposite a fox poll.
