I gotta say these Anderson AR lowers just like Virginia Slim have come a long way baby at least in price not as much in quality. I have two no logo Anderson lowers and probably wouldn't ever buy another Anderson anything , Both of the ones I built are slightly out of spec in the take down pin holes and are so tight you have to tap the pins through the upper with a mallet . I will say this though there is ZERO wobble between upper and lower so you don't ever have to worry about that. They were bought to build beater guns with that I don't care about if they get scratched up and abused so they serve the purpose but still unless you get them smoking cheap I would just assume save the money and get a better quality cheaper upper like an Aero which will at least be in spec.

I've never had an issue with the handful of Anderson lowers I've assembled. My FFL sells them for $50 out-the-door if I want one. Easier than ordering online.
I tend to worry more about barrel quality and bolt face for accuracy. YMMV…..
eta: the most expensive lower I ever built was the most ‘marginal’ spec I ever ran into. Still own it, mostly because it cost so much in correction parts to get running.

I never said anything about accuracy didn't see anyone else mention it either , but I did say they were both out of spec. More than I would like them to be , but the upper has no slop either which isn't necessarily good given that I have to pop the pins out with a mallet . I wouldn't ever worry about putting good quality parts in an out of spec lower though or mating a high quality upper to a cheap lower either . No sense in trying to turn a sows ear into a silk purse. These are guns which get scuffed up letting it ride around in a truck , canoe or loaning it to a family member who wants to go pig hunting .I tend to worry more about barrel quality and bolt face for accuracy. I have Colts , an LMT or two and several FN's when I need a good quality AR. OTOH if you want a better than PSA quality upper that won't break the bank look into a BKF upper they actually have good QC and their uppers are worth the price if you're looking for a budget part.
