About to purchase a free float rail wanted opinions. I like the Sampson Evo 12.37. Anyone know how they compare to Troy or Midwest? Also I do not have to tools to properly do the job any far SW OKC Gunsmiths handy?

If you were in Tulsa I would tell you to swing by FBT. They have just about one of everything and will let you fondle it all. They are hella nice guys like that. Good luck with your choice.

I love Troy, they are fantastic and a great choice. I have also used the Daniel Defense and it's an excellent choice if you want easy attach free float. I've not tried any of the lightweight rails but I'm really thinking about it, I love the Troy but dang it's heavy. I use a Hogue free float on my Grendel.
